Position Summary:
Volunteers serve as ambassadors for sea turtles during guided tours.
Responsibilities:
- Give guided tours and participate in other responsibilities associated with being open to the public.
- Disseminate accurate information to guests regarding sea turtles.
- Adhere to safety guidelines.
- Promote environmental sustainability.
- Uphold the KBSTRRC’s Mission Statement.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader, Volunteer Manager, Executive Director, or other designated person in charge.
Qualifications:
- Love of marine life especially sea turtles.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to work long hours.
- Enjoy working with people.
- Flexibility with scheduling.
- Able to follow directions.
