Tour Guide

Description

Position Summary:

Volunteers serve as ambassadors for sea turtles during guided tours. 

Responsibilities:

  • Give guided tours and participate in other responsibilities associated with being open to the public.
  • Disseminate accurate information to guests regarding sea turtles.  
  • Adhere to safety guidelines. 
  • Promote environmental sustainability.
  • Uphold the KBSTRRC’s Mission Statement.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader, Volunteer Manager, Executive Director, or other designated person in charge.

Qualifications:

  • Love of marine life especially sea turtles.  
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willing to work long hours.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Flexibility with scheduling.
  • Able to follow directions.

Get Connected Icon Must wear a staff shirt.
