Education & Outreach

The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center's mission is to conserve and protect sea turtles. One way we do this is by educating children and adults about the plight of sea turtles and the threat of their extinction.

Education volunteers help with all aspects of public education. They give special educational tours of our sea turtle hospital to school groups and community groups, they teach offsite programs at schools, they represent the organization at fairs and festivals.
